All new deployments (new SDDCs) and subscriptions of VMware Cloud on AWS (regardless of host type) are entitled to advanced cloud management, networking and security features available in VMware Cloud on AWS: Advanced.

VMware Cloud on AWS: Advanced is supported on all available VMware Cloud on AWS instance types.

VMware Cloud on AWS: Advanced is available in all commercial regions.

VMware Cloud on AWS: Advanced has the same price points as existing VMware Cloud on AWS subscriptions or SDDCs running on-demand. Note that prices vary by region and host type, but there is no upcharge for VMware Cloud on AWS: Advanced.

Yes, VMware Cloud on AWS: Advanced is available through AWS Resell.

VMware Cloud Universal skinned SPP credits can be transacted through the AWS Marketplace and the transacted credits can be used to redeem VMware Cloud on AWS: Advanced.

Existing deployments (existing SDDCs) and subscriptions purchased prior to the launch of VMC Advanced are expected to get these advanced cloud management, networking and security features over time.

VMware Cloud on AWS: Advanced now includes Aria Universal Suite Advanced. If customers want to purchase additional software subscriptions of Aria Universal Suite for deployments beyond VMware Cloud on AWS environments, they can do so.

VMware and AWS are working together to deliver greater value to end customers adopting VMware Cloud on AWS. These additional features provide enhanced cloud management, networking and network security features that customers need to build out datacenters in the cloud more effectively.
